Getting the Most out of Acupuncture

Every person responds differently to acupuncture. There is never a "one size fits all" protocol at Life Acupuncture & Holistic Medicine. We work with you, your comfort level and your goals. You will not find pre-set packages with high upfront costs. But we do offer discounting for continued Acupuncture sessions with no commitment.

How Acupuncture Works for Most People

Most patients get relief within 6 to 10 treatments. And many patients enjoy monthly visits, after relief, for continued health and to manage chronic conditions. Acupuncture works through a series of treatments. To alleviate symptoms (Relief Care), more treatments are needed up front. The treatments are then spread apart as symptoms begin to improve (Corrective Care).

With chronic conditions (more than 6 months), acupuncture might be needed every 3 to 4 days or once a week in the beginning. Once symptoms are about 90% relieved, treatments can be spread apart to every 2 to 3 weeks. Then, many patients elect to continue treatment every month or every few months, for ongoing management of symptoms and overall health.
